Q. How to use Help
A.

There are three modes for help. 

  1. If you are a visitor, a Parent, or a Scout.  Just look around and find the answers
    1. If you are thinking about being a Leader Please pay attention the the Leader Section
  2. If you are a Leader you should login. Your login allows you to do many things:
    1. You can upload picture
    2. Post a news release
    3. Add something to the calendar
    4. Modify/Add the Help section
  3. If you are a special person such as Treasurer, Photographer, Activity leader, you should look at the Leader Section and see what your area can do.
Q. What should you know about this web site?
A.

This web site is “fully” self-maintained; self-maintained means that the Pack-Leaders, Den Leaders, Special event coordinators, and scouts/Parents maintain everything on the web site.  See the Web Section for more details on each role. 

 

The Website runs off of the Roster file.   The Pack leader and the Treasurer can upload the Roster file.  The Den leaders can down load it, and the Parents update it (on line). 

 

All text aspects of this site are adjustable by any leader. 

 

·                     What's New? can have many what’s news.  They automatically expire after 2 weeks.

·                     Help is maintained by the leaders.

·                     The Photo Album is maintained by the leaders and the Photographers. High resolution images can only be downloaded by some one who has logged in.

·                     Calendar is maintained automatically for the Flag Days and school closings.  The Leaders post / update their on sections.  The Pack Leaders can add town events. E-mails can optionally be sent to the Pack / Den / event enrollees.

·                     The Pinewood Derby is maintained by the Pinewood Derby coordinator.

·                     Each Den is maintained by the Den Leaders.

 

Some information is withheld unless the user Logs in.  This is to protect the privacy of all involved.

The Pack is made up of 5 Dens:

The Pack has a Pack leader and an Assistant Pack Leader.  Each Den has a Leader and an Assistant Leader as well.

A. There are many areas that change once you have logged in as a Scout. This list is not complete but gives you some idea: 1. Calendar – Allows logged-in user to filter based on their Den 2. Photo Album – Allows down load of High Resolution Pictures. 3.
